This course aims to provide students with a foundational understanding of economic principles and how they apply to individual and group decision-making. It covers a range of topics including consumer behavior, market dynamics, strategic interactions, and the implications of market failures and information asymmetry. By doing so, it equips students with methods and analytical tools commonly used in economics and political science, such as solving constrained optimization problems. The goal of the course is to prepare students to critically analyze and engage with economic and political issues, fostering a deep understanding of the complex interplay between economic theories and real-world societal challenges.

Behavioral Economics (KG00003NABB)
The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the main topics and results of behavioral economics and to present its economic applications. The knowledge acquired during the course helps the interdisciplinary understanding of social phenomena. This complex approach fosters the thorough comprehension of economic and social relationships and promotes more efficient decision-making in the firm or the government, supporting sustainable progress.
